As the "Association of Official Analytical Communities," AOAC INTERNATIONAL is committed to being a
proactive, worldwide provider and facilitator in the development, use, and harmonization of validated
analytical methods and laboratory quality assurance programs and services. AOAC also serves as the
primary resource for timely knowledge exchange, networking, and high-quality laboratory information for
its members. To meet these goals, AOAC has three methods validation programs, the AOAC®
Official
Methods
Program® Peer-Verified Methods Program, and the AOAC® Performance Tested Methods
Program. These programs are recognized worldwide for providing reliable analytical testing procedures in
many scientific fields of endeavor.

The Midwest Section of AOACI is made up of eleven states in the heart of the United States: Illinois, Iowa,
Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The annual
Midwest Section AOAC Meeting and Exposition has a tradition of providing practical scientific
information that addresses the needs of the analytical community; including members of AOAC,
non-members, and students. Technical sessions include a variety of presentations focusing on the latest
topics and techniques and the exposition showcases technology from some of the most well known
companies in the industry.
